Eurovision: Semifinal 1 Lineup 2008

At 21:00 CEST, the first semifinal for this year's Eurovision Song Contest will begin. Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, will host this year's competition. This year things have changed. Instead of the top ten countries from the previous year & the "Big Four" automatically qualifying, only the winner from the previous year and the "Big Four" go straight through to the final. Also there are two semifinals rather than one. Here is tonight's lineup.

8. Slovenia - Rebeka Dremelj - Vrag Naj Vzame
9. Norway - Maria Haukass Storeng - Hold On Be Strong
10. Poland - Isis Gee - For Life
11. Ireland - Dustin the Turkey - Irelande Douze Pointe
12. Andorra - Gisela - Casanova
13. Bosnia And Herzegovina - Laka - Pokušaj
14. Armenia - Sirusho - Qele Qele
15. Holland - Hind - Your Heart Belongs To Me
16. Finland - Teräsbetoni - Missä Miehet Ratsastaa
17. Romania - Nico & Vlad - Pe-o Margine De Lume
18. Russia - Dima Bilan - Believe

Ten out of the nineteen above will go through to the final on Saturday. Please check on who who is broadcasting this in your country (it is BBC3 for the United Kingdom). Only the nineteen participating countries along with Spain & Germany can vote this evening.
