So this is the review for the second Hard-Fi album, released back in September. I only found out about it a few months ago, and received it for a birthday prezzie in March. Enjoy.
Suburban Knights
This song, the first to become a single from this album, is one of my favourites. It isn’t or wasn’t overplayed so I can listen to it without getting fed up of it. There is one bad thing, though, and that is that this version has an instrumental minute at the end, which is annoying. But other than that, I love it.

I Shall Overcome
I do like this song. I really do. There’s just something that doesn’t make it perfect. It’s still great in my opinion. I’m not sure what spoils it, but it doesn’t do too much harm.

Tonight
When I first listened to the album, I was too busy on my newly created Facebook account to really listen. So when I listened to this for the second time, I fell in love with it. I can listen to this song over and over again.

Watch Me Fall Apart
I didn’t think this song would be good. But I was wrong. I was too busy on Facebook to listen to it the first time, and I only listened to it the second time the other day, but I think it is brilliant and very catchy.

I Close My Eyes
This is my least favourite song on the album. It is the least rocky, indie song they’ve ever done (out of all 22 of them!). I wish this was better but some people might adore this song.

Television
When I was on Facebook, I do remember hearing the chorus to this song. And I loved it. I listened to it in full the next day and, in my opinion, it can’t get any better.

Help Me Please
I could get tired of this song. But I don’t. That’s what makes it fantastic. The tune is amazing. The lyrics are what you’d expect from Hard-Fi. There are smiles all round, just like with Cheerios.

Can’t Get Along (Without You)
This song is quite good. Like “Help Me Please”, the lyrics are very Hard-Fi, which is great. The social issues are addressed well. It could be better in some places, but I don’t know where, to be honest.

We Need Love
I love this song. The song mentions as many British towns & cities as possible, which is a nice touch. The melody, the lyrics, everything is perfect with this song. The rhyming adds extra fantastic stuff.

Little Angel
I swear I’ve heard this song before somewhere. I might not have. I love it though. Everything about it is so... great. I cannot fault it. Seriously, I can’t.

The King
From the very first notes, I don’t like the sound. I don’t even try the rest. I should have done so earlier (and actually listen). This song is so much better than I thought it would be. The chorus, especially. It’s a great song to end with.
- 9/10
It’s a brilliant album. Out of a possible 110 points, it received 102 from me. The cover art is original, which is always a good thing. Great work Hard-Fi!
9.25/10
